"The best place to get empanadas! I have tried many different chains and locations, but these guys are always the best. The empanadas are rich in flavour and full of filling. I really liked their new Piamonte gourmet flavour - it's amazing. Classics like jamon and cheese and special chicken are also very worth it."

"A quick snack -delicious empanadas. I really liked the smash burger fillings. Its similar to the asian currypuffs but when baked. Price were pricy to me for somthing i could finished in 2-3 bites however a great memory to add to the spanish local food experience."

"What a gem We just walked by and it caught our eyes... there were so many selections of empanadas... we had "Oh My Goat" and "Ox Tall"... ther were amazingly delicious . And the shopkeeper was very friendly and helpful."

"I popped into this shop just to buy an alfajor de maicena. It was sooo good. The cookie cumbled, but wasn't dry, and the filling was tasty. I could have eaten many more."

"Malvón is hands-down one of the best spots in Barcelona for empanadas! They have a great variety of flavors, but the carne especial really stood out—it was packed with perfectly seasoned beef, tender and juicy, with just the right balance of spices. Every bite tasted authentic and homemade, with a crispy golden crust that made it irresistible. The service was quick and friendly, and the shop has a welcoming vibe whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or taking some to go. If you’re an empanada lover—or even if you’ve never tried one before—Malvón is a place you shouldn’t miss. The carne especial alone is worth the visit!"

"Amazing selection of Empanadas, almost too many to choose from, but really something for everyone! My favourite meal of our trip! Staff member was very friendly and helpful, so a great experience us! Not much seating available as it's quite a small place, but that's fine."
